Start Building AI Projects This January - Live Cohort Kick-Off This Sunday
A monthly live session that helps you choose the right learning path, start hands-on AI projects, and make real progress this month
The hardest part of learning AI isn’t effort.
It’s turning curiosity into consistent, hands-on progress.
That’s what our monthly cohort kick-off is designed to solve.
This Sunday, the January cohort kicks off with a live session led by our CEO, Louie Peters. The session walks through how learners actually use Towards AI to move forward: how they choose a path, what to work on first, and how people go from concepts to real projects instead of staying stuck in tutorials.
If you joined recently, this is your on-ramp.
If you’re still exploring and deciding whether to join, you’re welcome to attend and see how the learning paths work before committing.
By the end of January, some learners will be:
building AI apps in Python instead of just reading about them
working with prompting, RAG, agents, and evaluation in structured projects
shipping systems they can explain, demo, and build on
Others will still be bookmarking posts and waiting for the “right time.”
The cohort kick-off happens once a month, and January’s session is this Sunday.

The session is open to anyone exploring or newly joining Towards AI.

Nice read really helpful framing for anyone starting out in AI right now.
The focus on moving from “just learning concepts” to actually building real, usable AI projects feels like the right shift for 2026. A lot of people get stuck in tutorials, so having structured paths and hands-on projects makes a big difference, as like this simple project make simple for many peoples https://brokenscreen.org/
Thanks for putting this together and keeping it practical rather than just theory-heavy.
I appreciate the emphasis on starting AI projects; it’s a great way to demystify technology.
